Plant Swap & Market
Second plant swap of the summer at Living Haus Beer!
Come hang out at this fun little plant community event! Theres a plant swap, rare plant raffle, and plenty of vendors of plants and plant themed items to shop!
These are being managed now by the amazing Marina of Sweet Tica Events, and she’s making it into a whole little market with plant and plant themed vendors! We’ll be doing multiple of these throughout the spring / summer, so keep an eye out for future dates!
Plant Swap Guidelines
The plant swap table is where all the swappin’ takes place!
The swap table will be clearly labeled, and is where you can check out what’s available and drop off your own contributions! This is a very casual plant swap — just leave whatever you’re contributing on the swap table and take home whatever strikes your fancy!
You can leave and/or take as many plants as you’d like! This isn’t an one-for-one thing, so don’t worry if you brought one plant but go home with way more than that!
Check out the swap table frequently! People come through all throughout the event, so the swap table is constantly getting refreshed. Feel free to visit it frequently throughout the event and snag more items! Hang out, grab a drink and some tasty food, and watch that swap table like a hawk! 👀
You can bring cuttings, established plants, and / or plant supplies (clean pots, trellises, plant tags, moss poles, etc.)
Plants and cuttings should be pest free and labeled with what kind of plant it is. We’ll have materials at the swap to label your plants if you forget!
We encourage healthy plants, but rehabs are ok too! (A “rehab” plant is one that needs a little extra love and care to be healthy and happy again. This does NOT include plants with active pests!) Just please clearly indicate if a plant is a rehab project so it’s new plant parent knows what they’re getting into. We strongly advise that if you see who takes a rehab plant you’ve brought that you go talk to them to let them know the history of the plant, what you’ve tried, and what seems to be the issue.

This market holds a special place in my heart: its hosted by one of my long-time customers who now owns The Triple Lindy! Local community is truly the best and I’m so excited to support her new venture!

Clinton Street Fair
Outdoor street fair with a more chill vibe!
This street fair is a great one to check out if the bigger, crazy packed events aren’t your jam. Spanning a few blocks around the intersection of SE Clinton and SE 25th ave this street fair feels more like a local community event, with most of the local businesses on the block having booths out in front of their storefronts!

One of my favorite events of the year and hands down the best local plant event! Big outdoor market of plant and plant themed vendors! I’ll have a large booth at this event and will have some harder to find and collector plants available! Don’t miss it!

The Other Plant Sale (TOPS)
The biggest plant market in Portland!
Over 40 plant and plant-themed vendors will be slingin’ their wares at this outdoor market at the Rockwood Market Hall plaza!
There is a full indoor food court with tons of amazing food options, as well as water refill station and bathrooms (no porta potties YAY!)
The Other Side Nursery also does a multi-winner raffle with prize packages full of items from the vendors. Tickets can be purchase at The Other Side Nursery, which is in the Rockwood Market Hall.
I’ll have a big 10x20 booth at this market, and with it being my last event of the year everything will be 50% off!
